Sister Time

Today Liv and I got Big City together. She gets out of class at like 10:30 on Wednesdays and I don't have class...fun! After eating our giant burritos we headed to the dollar store and each got a pair of sunglasses. For $1! Cool.

Lovelies

I've gotten to spend some quality time with some wonderful girls recently. On Saturday I went with Katie and Christy to help move Katie to Greeley. It was grand...I love spending time with the twins and observing (and laughing at) their sister interactions. Because I know them. And I know they love each other, even when it's hard to tell.

In between times with friends that I love, I've spent some time pool-side, soaking up the sun before the pools close for the fall. I really don't feel like I'm in school yet, which I am totally ok with.

Tonight I got to hang out with Christy, Eve, Ashley, and Elizabeth. We had dinner at Cafe Mexicali to bring back good memories from high school. And we reminisced lots. And Eve commented on how very Pinterest-y I was. I was a little embarrassed, but it's true- I'm a tad obsessed. So, just for her, I'm posting a picture of my Pinterest-inspired look (though I swear it was not intentional). Feel free to make fun of me...I don't mind. And I feel like it's pretty justified.

p.s. Speaking of Pinterest, I recently found this lovely video. (Stick it out through the beginning of the video, even though it's awkward and you don't know what's happening.) I've posted a similar one before but I think I like this one better. Take notes, oh dear future husband of mine. Actually, let's be real...I would be pretty jealous really pissed if I wasn't apart of the flash mob that happened at my wedding. Maybe we can do two? One that surprises me and one that I'm the leader of. 

Hey Girl

First of all, you should know that my two biggest celebrity crushes are Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Ryan Gosling. I am in love with them both.

With that said, I was just told about this website. It has a bunch of the "Hey Girl" memes, but they're all Christian themed, which is hilarious. Here are some good ones, keeping my celebrity crushes in mind:

 

 

In other news, tonight I made these delicious cookies that I found on Pinterest. White Chocolate Raspberry. Holy cow, they are incredible. For reals. Probably my new favorites.

Best friends

Spent tonight with some of my very best friends. We shared funny, awkward, weird, and real stories from our recent lives. We had a dance party, Camp T style (not quite the same without 150 little children surrounding us and 40 other counselors raging, but incredible nonetheless). And then I rollerbladed home. Yep, rollerbladed. Awesome.

The Art of Procrastination

I had forgotten about it until school started today. But gosh, I am so dang good at it.

Transitions

I just got a teeny burst of excitement for school to start. Which is good, because I had been totally lacking that and really just dreading the start of school. I am still so bummed for summer to be over, but I feel so confident in the Lord's faithfulness and I just know this next season will be good. I even wrote out a little class schedule for myself and decorated it with markers (it helped that I was listening to fun music from the Parent Trap).

My prayers were answered in huge ways this summer, as I just loved being at camp. I really can't even describe it in a blog post, but I felt so in the center of God's will and completely who He made me to be while I was there. And that is the best feeling. I feel like I've grown a lot in the last few months and I'm excited to see how that will impact my time at school. Here are some of my favorite pictures from camp...I'm sure I'll write more about it soon, but just know for now that it was incredible.
